1. discovery
At first, we ask a lot of questions and then do a lot of listening. We get to know you and how you will be using the space. We chat (in person or over the phone whichever you prefer) about space planning, expectations of finishes, budgets, timelines and other design elements that will impact the space. Ex – Appliances, plumbing, light fixtures and any structural details. Collect site measurements or blue prints can be emailed. This meeting is very collaborative – we review any images you have collected or pinned, discuss styles that inspire you. Through this process it will give us a good feel and understanding of your project.
2. concept & Creation
From our initial meeting we will have gathered enough information to produce a concept design and quote. Each design will be custom created to the clients needs, functional preferances and personal style. Every quote will have a complete list of all materials, specs and scope of work as well as 3D drawings.
3. the details
Here’s where we get to step up the fun some more! We dig deep into the creative details like exact colours and finishes of the cabinetry, countertops and hardware. We will make adjustments and fine tune the drawings & quote to make sure we are on budget and that you absolutely love it!
4. confirmation & order
This is where we finalize the pricing, layouts, elevations, colours, finishes, accessories & design elements. We will collaborate with you and your contractor to ensure we have sufficient time lines in order, site layouts scheduled to confirm all final measurements, & final contract signed. Once the site layout has been completed, we will proceed with ordering all materials required in the contract. You and your contractor will be given final construction drawings. We will be in constant contact with you or your contractor by phone, emails & text to maintain the ever-shifting schedule in construction over the next few weeks.
5. delivery & installation
A delivery & install date will be confirmed with you and/or your contractor. At this stage your reno or new build are starting to feel like it’s coming together. This is probably the easiest stage for our home owners. Here’s where you get to sit back, relax and let us do all the heavy lifting. Our professional delivery team will deliver the cabinetry to site and installation will start the following day by our Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter/Owner.
6. completion
Once initial install is completed, we will follow up with you onsite to review our completion check list, reviewing all details of the contract have been met and any service work to be completed after initial installation.
